This didn’t disappoint and was full of surprises. Geppetto, Catnip, and myself knocked out a brisk 4 mile loop pre Sailor’s Warning. First surprise was seeing Sea Turtle tracks! As we met the PAX, flags were posted, but the Q was absent. In the most rare form of all, D2 fartsacked his own Q!!! By the time we hobbled to coffeteria, we sent out a search party as we were all worried about the young lab. We did discuss that had it been Bearded Millennial or Twinkle Toes we wouldn’t have been so surprised. I grabbed the opportunity to take the Q and i dug up a goody from F3 Grandstrand Goose and Hotspot when they guest Q’d last year (if yall are reading this, when are you coming back to visit Tha Island?)
Disclaimer: announced
Weather: PERFECT
Mosey to Flag pole for a quick COP of Side Straddle Hops IC x20 and Weed Pickers ICC x15.
I then told the PAX to partner up, and size didn’t matter. When we got our battle buddy, we ran up the steps of the Casino, turned left toward Brogen’s, down the steps, and back to Flag. This would be the loop one of the Battle Buddies would run while the other did work.
Tha Work…. as a team the PAX had to complete the following 500 Little Baby Crunches, 400 Squats, 300 4-Count Flutter Kicks, 200 Merkins, and 100 Burpees. Brothers, the 3rd time was a charm!!!! It was a doozy, and get this… we picked up 2 FNG mid beatdown!!!!
We had guest from Charlotte NC (Stinger), Perry GA (Ponce), Atlanta GA (Homeboy), welcomed FNG’s from Macon (Toy Story) and Atlanta (Commode)!
Prayers: Bundy – family, HeeHaw – Grandmothers, Scott Reynolds family, and community.
Coffeteria….. Stinger introduced F3 Q-Source, we’re looking forward to the Get Right! I read back thru my notes from the last time I did the Battle Buddy workout and saw my closing note was the C.S. Lewis Quote “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending” , also read Proverbs 11:25 A generous man will prosper; he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed. and Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another – and all the more as you see the day approaching. In short…. be the kind of Battle Buddy that shows up, holds each other accountable, and is deliberate.
I’ve never fartsacked a Q
