Eight PAX were present on a beautiful star-lit morning in the Village area of Saint Simons Island.

After the obligatory warnings, the PAX ran from the assembly area of the Pier around the whole of the curvature of the Atlantic Ocean at nearly dead low tide and placed with care nearly where we started.

COP:

20 side straddle hops

20 imperial walkers

15 arm circles in each direction

10 four count Merkins

Mosey to parking area nearest the mini golf course

6 minute ABS to the abdominal scene from Rocky IV (which scene? what else, where Rocky is in the Russian farmhouse and doing inverted sit-ups by the fireplace)

Little baby crunches

plank a palooza in multiple positions

Big boy situps with 10 four counts American hammers

flutter kicks

Freddy Mercurys

Mosey to Pier

Round 1: One group Merkins, one group LBCs with monkeys in the middle doing burpee broad jumps to relieve the others

Round 2: One group side straddle hops, one group monkey humpers, monkeys in the middle doing lunges to relieve the others.

10 four count Merkins (Rosie requested, or so the Q heard…)

Mosey to the Whale playground

5 four count pull-ups

10 four count Merkins (Rosie requested, or so the Q heard…)

Indian run around the Casino all the way around to the ocean side and then follow the leader until exactly 6:15 a.m. so as not to deny the PAX even one second of enjoyment!

  1. In my defense, Inmate is a pro runner whose great joy in life is wearing out track shoes and apparently his elders. I should have known this good brother in Christ would not only burn my legs and arms out but remember all my smart mouth remarks. It was a great Q nonetheless and as usual I was glad (after about an hour’s delay) he pushed me to challenge myself.
    Blessings,
    Mind Bender
